The Specialist Center for Professional Training of Teachers Conducts Program of New Omanis Teachers (1703)

Specialist Center for Professional Training of Teachers in Ministry of Education kicks off the program of new Omanis teachers, third session, which lasts for one year and divided on two training courses. The program targeted new Omanis teachers in government schools, and it aims to develop the participant’s performance in field of education to support and develop the methods of teaching in school.
Furthermore, the program is implemented in three stages which are direct training, e-learning and learning in work environment, also to be mention the program lasts for a year and divided on two training session, the first training session untitled “teaching methods in classroom’’ while the second session of training entitled “creative learning”. In addition, evaluated each session by submitting a file containing required work tasks and report of three stages of training, also the file can contain lessons plans, educational resources, professional development activities, videos used for evaluation and feedback from students and colleagues.
Moreover, about the progress of the program, it was merger between the central training (in the specialist center for professional training of teachers) and training decentralized in governorate’s directorates, also hiring trainers of governorate and training them on the content and evaluation mechanism of the program. In this year, the program targeted (1703) teachers from different disciplines of study.
