Musandam Directorate Inaugurates Students Companies Projects for Khasab Port Duty Free

Under the patronage of Ahmed Al Madhani, the Assistant Director of Musandam Educational Directorate, in presence of Shaikh Mohamed Aal Malek , Mohammed Al Shihi, the Head of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Musandam Governorate and others ,Musandam Directorate General of Education launched the project of students companies for Khasab Port duty free. The event aimed to acquire the students with skills to practice business in order to be successful entrepreneurs.
At the beginning ,Dr.Ahmed Al Shehhi, the Career Guidance Section Head presented a short summary about the project and after that ,the patron of the occasion launched the balloon that had Omani flag and students companies duty free logos marking the beginning of students free business in Kasab Port .Then,Ahmed Al Madhani and the attendance went in a tour around the expo to view the products of Free Duty Students Musandam Company and Free Duty Students Oman Jewel Company and listened to the detailed explanations by students of the companies tasks .Moreover, the students received tourists and visitors .
In addition, Abdullah Al Fori,the Director General of Education in Musandam said that the initiative of the students companies free duty in Musandam Basic Education School(10-12)and Oman Jewel Basic Education School (10-12) came to implement programs and events prepared by Musandam Directorate within its operational plan for this year and methodical program that was established by the Career Guidance National Centre .Also, he added that this initiative aimed to encourage students and provided them with entrepreneurship skill to practice business . Also,Al Hoor Al Shihi a student at 11th class said that they as students established the free duty students company to instill cultures , to retrieve culture and develop handcrafts I order to acquire the experiences ,manage small companies and deal with tourists. Abdul Al Malik, a student at 10th class in Musandam School added that students began their project with a help from career guidance specialist and the school and directorate supported them the 1st and then they established project in the airport for two days. After that, they displayed their company products in Khasab Airport.
