Lectures for Social Engineering and Digital Citizenship Axes in Al Suwaiq

Directorate General of Education in Governorate of North Al Batinah represented by the Department of Information Technology in collaboration with the Educational Supervision Office in Al Suwaiq organized lecture about digital engineering and digital citizenship axes at Omani Women Association in Al Suwaiq as part of the activities of the campaign(weqa), presence of Mr. Saleh Bin Nasser Nassiri, director of Educational Supervision Office in Al Suwaiq, and Mr. Mohamed Al-Ajmi, head of networks Department of IT Directorate.
The lecture targeted administrative, education faculty, students and parents, and it aims to educate the audience of social engineering and how to prevent risks and awareness of the safe use of social network sites. Furthermore, Anwar Al Khambashi, Computer Specialist delivered the first lecture entitled Social Engineering, while the second lecture was about digital citizenship axes presented by Mohammed Al Ajmi. Also, to be mentioned that the campaign aims to spread the culture of optimal and safe use of applications over the Internet, smart phones, prohibition of publish the personal information and passwords on the Internet. In addition, raise awareness for parents to protect their children from the wrong uses of electronic devices and applications of network.
