South Sharqiah ended the final qualifying of Oral Competitions for Knowledge Development Program in Science and Environmental Geographic Concept on the level of Governorate

General Directorate of Education in South Sharqiah ended the final qualifying of Oral Competitions for Knowledge Development Program in Science and Environmental Geographic Concept on the level of Governorate for the year 2016/2017; where the participants schools competed in the competition in different grades and the results came as follow the grades (5-6) in science, alkamel School achieved 1st place, Remal Alsharqiah School came in 2nd place, and 3rd place took by Tasneem School; in Environmental Geographic Concept Ramlah um Almoamanen School achieved the 1st place, Alabas bin abdulmutalib school took the 2nd place and Alkamel school took the 3rd place.
The grades (7-8) in Mathematics, Ramlah um Almoamanen School achieved the 1st place, Alasalah school took the 2nd place and Alwafi school took the 3rd place; in Environmental Geographic Concept Ramlah um Almoamanen School took the 1st place, Saud bin Azan school came in 2nd place and Masirah school came in 3rd place.
The grades (9-10) in Mathematics, Blad bani bu Ali School achieved the 1st place, Berah bent Alharith school took the 2nd place and Remal Alsharqiah school took the 3rd place; in Environmental Geographic Concept Alwafi School took the 1st place, Saud bin Azan school came in 2nd place and Alkamel school came in 3rd place.
Furthermore, Knowledge Development program aims to stimulate the students, stir their motivation to study this curriculums to achieve the required proportionality between the science and humanitarian and development required in society, activate the practical side in academic achievement in target fields, raising the academic achievement levels in Science and Math and Geographic, guide students to learn how to learn especially if the program concentrate on thinking process and applicant the knowledge they learn in their daily life and improve the performance of the Sultanate#s students in similar tests and regional and international studies in which they participate on both regional and international level, motivate the teachers to improve their performance and renew their dealing methods and improve it with several levels in one class, enable teachers and learner to harnessing the environment as a resource for learning and in the same time room for science knowledge practical. Also, encourage teachers and learner to follow development and inventions in science, math, and geographic, improve teachers and supervisors skills in making high mental skills questions, helping teachers to understand the standards to achieve learning outcomes and observe it, providing scientific indicators used technique feedback help improving the various input, process, and output associated with educational system and spread the awareness with the importance of concepts and skills of science and math and geographic and they relate to economy, community and sustainable development and contribute to building staff and develop their science and knowledge capabilities, in the framework of the sultanate#s quest to build the system of science, technology , innovation and complete its infrastructure.
