Finalists Competition of Memorizing the Holy Quran Starts for People with Visual Disabilities started yesterday at Al Shomouk Al Aalmia Private Schools Theater, which organized by Ministry of Education, represented by the Directorate-General for education programs, " Department of Special Education Programs," in cooperation with the General Directorate of Private Schools. The competition aimed to encourage the visual disabilities people to memorizing the Holly Quran, earn the reward of Allah, fear of punishment and development of self-censorship among students. Also, to be mentioned this competition is part of a public competition organized by ministry every year and it included (four) different level. Furthermore, twenty-five students of Omar bin Al Khattab Institute for Blind participated in the competition and (nine) student reached the final stage, and they will participate in finalists which will be held in mid of April at the level of the Ministry.
