Al Tobi Honors More than 400 outstanding at Cognitive Development Program in Al Wetayah

Mohammed Al Tobi the Advisor of Ministry of Education , in presence of H.E .Saud Al Balushi, the Undersecretary of Ministry of Education for Educational Planning and HR Development, Mohammed Al Yaqoobi,the Head of National Committee for Education and Culture and others , presided over the annual celebration to honor the outstanding students, teachers and schools in the cognitive development in science, math subjects and Environmental geography concepts for the academic year 2015/2016 yesterday morning in Auditorium of Ministry of Education at Al Wetayah. During the ceremony, the patron opened scientific innovations expo for students and which included outstanding scientific innovations which achieved advanced positions at the students innovations fields such as robots and environmental GLOBE program.
At the ceremony ,four outstanding categories were honored :269 students at verbal competition ,students projects and written tests,91 teachers in students projects and written examinations ,96 schools from various governorates in the Sultanate and 6 educational governorates.
It is worth mentioning that the cognitive development program for students in sciences ,math and environmental geography came as a result of HM Sultan Qaboos#s directives to promote the academic achievement of students at the scientific and cognitive aspects ,to motivate them to study these subjects in order to attain the required suitability between the scientific, humanitarian specialties outcomes and development requirements in the society.
