Al Yaqoobi Presides over Coordinators for Omani Schools Affiliated with UNESCO Forum in Al Seeb

The forum of coordinators for Omani schools affiliated with UNESCO and which organized by the National Committee for Education, Science and Culture, represented by Schools affiliated with UNESCO Department kicked off yesterday m orning in Golden Tulip Hotel at Al Seeb for two days. It was under patronage of Mohammed Al Yaqoobi, the Omani National Committee Secretary .Also,Haffedah Al Syabi, the Assistant Head at the Omani schools affiliated with UNESCO Department and Youth programs and UNESCO Clubs the results of visits by the ooicials at the schools affiliated with UNESCO Department in order to view the projects implemented by schools such as Twins Projects ,celebrate the global days of UNESCO and stand for challenges that faced those schools to implement initiatives. Moreover, the forum events continued today wherefrom Hafeeza Al Siabi will present introductory presentation to clarify the project of comprehensive school methodology for sustainable development in climate change field and Khdijah Al Blushi from Hafsah bint Sireen Basic Education School will present about the weather change and the importance of social media at educational filed.
The opening ceremony included a screening of schools affiliated with UNESCO events that reflected the activities implemented by the schools previously. The, the attendees watched infographic film that talked about climate change. At the end, Omani schools affiliated with UNESCO were honored.
It is also to be noted that this forum came as attainment of the global schools affiliated with UNESCO network objectives, therefore the Sultanate added (27) schools in the network and inaugurated the comprehensive school project. Also, (11) Omani schools affiliated with UNESCO experimentally.
