The first semester of  general education diploma examinations for the academic year 2016/2017  start  today morning .Also, the Directorate General of Education of  Muscat Governorate  finished its preparation for the exams  .Also, there are  Approximately 11,000 students present the exams  in 49 examination centers distributed around the five Willaytes at the governorate and which include regular students, adult education students and students from the  Guards Collage  , private schools, Omar bin Al Khatab Institute for Blind , Islamic Science Institute and Al Amal School for Deaf. The directorate provides all the requirements and comfortable atmosphere for students to perform the examination easily. Therefore, the local committee for examinations held meeting for the examinations centers in the Doha Al Adab School chaired by Dr. Ali Al Jahwari, the Director General of Muscat Directorate , the Committee#s  Head in presence of the Members at the committee .Dr.Ali delivered a speech where he emphasized that the directorate exerted efforts to prepare for the exams and equip the classes with means that help the students to perform the exams comfortably  and choose the appropriate schools as taking into  the consideration the students houses distance .
