Education that Based on Standards Training Program Kicks off in Muscat
The Directorate General for Curriculum Development at the Ministry of Education and in collaboration with the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States organized a training program titled "The Education that Based on Standards " at the Specialized Centre for Professional Training of Teachers .The program targeted the curriculum and educational evaluation experts and members and lasted for three days .
The program aimed to show the trainees some samples of Arab and foreign countries that applied the standards project ,to have the knowledge in composing curriculum within the
standards and how to establish performance indicators in parallel with
standards .Moreover, the program included various work papers of content
standards drafting methods, school
curriculum and books design methods , design correction rules and establishing
a plan that based on the standards.
