Sultanate of Oman Heads the 66 Course of International Education Office
Sultanate of Oman headed the 66 course of International Education Office of UNESCO’s, where the Sultanate represented by HE Dr. Hamoud bin Khalfan Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Teaching and Curriculum, and Dr. Yahya Al Harthy, Director General of Curriculum Development. The meeting discussed the Director General report for office activities which was completed in 2016, and proposed activities and budget for 2017. Also, the project which delivered by UNESCO about defining the relationship between the organization and the office, and the proposed World Conference of Education.
It’s to be mentioned that the Sultanate has been elected to head the office for two courses, 65 and 66 and there is cooperation between Ministry of Education and the International Education Office, where a number of curriculum members in the ministry participated in the program of curriculum diploma which supervised by International Education Office and other programs.
