Al Sharqiyah South Directorate Honors the Outstanding Students in Robot

Under the patronage of H.E Saud Al Blushi, the Advisor to the Ministry of Education for Education Planning and HR Resources Development  , the Directorate General of Education in  Al Sharqiyah South  honored the outstanding students in robot and the students of second and fourth place at the Sultanate level in the Vision Prize for Youth Initiatives .Also ,the ceremony was attended by Dr,Nasser Al Abri, the Director General of Al Sharqiyah South Directorate ,the Head #s Assistants ,the winning schools principles and others .Al Muhalab bin Abi Sufrah Basic Education School Principles came in the 2nd  place at the Vision Prize for Youth Initiatives and Bilad bani bu Hassn School came in the 4th place .Then ,Saud Al Blushi honored the IT teachers of  the previous winning schools for their tremendous efforts in educational projects ,the outstanding students ,teacher Wafa Al Salti, the Math Supervisor in the governorate .              

Saud Al Blushi,the Advisor to the Ministry of Education for Education Planning and HR Resources Development   said that we must provide the students the opportunity to create and compete in the various competitions  because  they  have capabilities and experiences. He also added that these participations helped  the students to develop their abilities to have the required  learning skills .He also stressed that the Ministry of Education exerted efforts to spread the robot culture among students so, it provided  more than 500 robot career bags to schools and  technical teams  to work with schools in order to encourage the students to compete locally and globally .Moreover Dr.Nasser Al Abri, said that the directorate sought  to give  interest to the robot field .Also, he stressed  the directorate role to encourage and  develop the innovation skills  among students by establishing two robot laboratories, the cooperation between Oman Liquefied Natural Gas and the directorate and support students  projects.
