Directorate of North Al Batina Launches Awareness Campaign Waqa of Information Security
Under the auspices of H.E Sheikh Mohammed Al Tobi, Advisor to the Ministry of Education, Directorate General of Education in North Al Batina Launched Waqa campaign of Information Security in Sultan Qaboos Mosque in Sohar.
Esaa Al Shibli, Assistant of General Director of Planning Affairs, HR Development, and IT, gave the directorate speech where he mentioned that the main goal of this campaign is to spread awareness of information security among employees of the directorate, teachers, students, and parents, to reach the safe use of information and minimize the risks caused by using technology. It is worth mentioning that the campaign will last until end of March. During the ceremony, a presentation was presented dangers of internet and its risks on educational and local community.
