School Achievement Team Visits Dhofar Directorate

The school achievement of the Ministry of Education paid a visit to Dhofar Governorate .The team was chaired by Sheikh,Saood Al Azri, the  Advisor at the Mister of Education Office where he held an educational meeting  at Dhofar Directorate, in presence of Hamed Al Rashdi,the Director General of Dhofar  Education Directorate  ,Maizoon Al Shahri,the Assistant of Director General for Educational Planning , HR Development  and IT  ,Departments Heads and others.   

At the beginning of the meeting, AL Rashdi welcomed the attendees and thanked the teachers, schools principles and supervisors for their exerted efforts in the educational fields. He also clarified that the aims  of the visit were  to view the   statistics and comparisons  of school achievement which were available  within five years  to be discussed,  read the reality accurately, build procedural  executive plan for the next phase .After that, Al Azri, added that the Ministry of Education interests were  to follow up  the school achievement  levels of students in  various school subjects ,to clarify the students  real levels ,discuss the reasons of the low school achievement and establish appropriate solutions .He pointed out also that Dhofar Governorate sought to improve the level of school achievement by the directorate officials, school principals  supervisors and senior teachers. Moreover, he stressed on the importance to communicate with parents via diverse channels such as parents councils , social media networks and text messages.  

In addition, Mohmood Al Khudoori,the Examination  Technical Member at the Directorate General of Education Evaluation presented Statistic Performance SMA ,Success percentage of students in Dhofar, direct the schools to specify problems and solve them, establish long term plan. At the end, the attendees discussed different issues relating to  students school achievement ,challenges that face schools ,find appropriate solutions and exchange points  of view  to raise up the level of school achievement .
