Dhofar Directorate Conducts A Training Program for English Teachers
Department of Human Resources Development in Dhofar implemented a training workshop for kindergarten and cycle one private schools# teachers about how to prepare and manufacture dolls, to activate it in teaching the different skills of English subject.
The training program carried out by Heba Abdul Salam, English teachers at Al Manahel School, under the supervision of English private schools# supervisors, Fatima Al Ibrahim and Haifa Al Dhahab. After that, the trainer started to explain the importance of using dolls in activating the excitement and thrill in teaching English language. Also, she did several designs for four different types of dolls using simple ores and inexpensive. Then, teachers divided into four groups to implement designs and show models through the mini-lessons. Moreover, the teachers interest in workshop and the extent of their readiness for practical application in their schools, and transfer the training effect for the other teachers. At the end of the program, they handed over certificates to 16 of participants.
