Parent Council in Ibri hold its first meeting yesterday chaired by HE Sheikh Saqr bin Sultan Al Shukaily, Wali Ibra and Council Chairman, in presence of Hamed Ali Al Sarhani, Director General in Education Directorate General in Al Sharqiyah North, and the council members consisted of schools# principals, heads of parent councils, and administration supervisor at the Directorate. The meeting took place in the meeting hall of HE Sheikh Wali Ibra and discussed the importance of considering students# achievement levels in the school and community, and search for new mechanisms which could contribute in raising students# school achievement level. Also, the meeting discussed enhancing outstanding students at different educational fields to acquire good results reflected on their school academic achievement. The meeting also put in its agenda finding new ideas and mechanisms to enhance teachers# role in the educational process in addition to adapting new educational ideas and projects submitted by teachers. The meeting also addressed the issue of indigent students and the importance of making them feel of the community care and love.

 It is worth mentioning that Al Sharqiyah North Directorate considered one of the first educational directorate supported indigent students by providing events and programs contribute to integrate them with others in school and community.
