Today... The Annual Winter Scout Camp in Al Maldah
250 scouts and leaders from 11 governorates arrived yesterday morning to participate in the annual winter scout camp at Sultan Qaboos Camp in Al Maladah under the slogan (Scouts Renewable Prospects). It will be held during the period from the eighth to the fourteenth of February.
The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Director General of Directorate General of Scouts and Guides Khamis bin Salim AlRasbi and in presence of a number of officials and scout leaders in the governorates. It included an entry parade of the participants, raise of the Sultanate flag, speech of Directorate General of Scouts and Guides, speech of General leader of the camp and many scouts’ songs. The camp included a range of cultural, scientific, scouting, sports and tourism activities and programs.
