Al Batinah North Conducts the 8th Forum " Developing my Skills is a Fingerprint in My Life"

Under the patronage of Dr.Ali Al Harrasi, the Director General of Al Batinah North Directorate ,represented by the Special Needs Education Section organized the 8th forum entitled " Developing My Skills is a Fingerprint in My Life " at the Conference Hall in Sohar Hospital and Al Batinah Hall for two days. Also it targeted 340 special needs education teachers and their supervisors. The forum aimed to introduce the attendance with the latest updates of the special needs education and its services, strengthen the relations among the employees at the education field and acquire various new experiences.
Moreover, the forum was opened by a work paper entitled " Role of Modern Techniques in Teaching Students of special needs Education” by Ali Al Shibli, Following and Studies Member at the Head of special needs Education Department's Office, where he addressed the role of the modern technology in presenting the future visions, services, private education programs, creative solution for educational problems and the designing presented educational content. He also discussed the application method, practice and the practical experience through diverse educational practices for the special needs education students and presenting the educational services in order to activate their mental abilities to integrate into society to be productive individuals. In addition, Dr. Ahmed Al Hori, ENT Specialist in Saham Hospital delivered another worksheet entitled " Mental and Hearing Disabilities " where he classified the hearing and mental disabilities into two main dimensions, the age, when did the hearing disabilities occur and what was the extent of hearing lose. Also he mentioned the reasons of hearing disabilities which included genetic and environmental factors.
