Juliet Cowley Presents a Training Program of Asking Questions Strategies in Muscat
The Human Resources Development Department at the MOE and in collaboration with the English Supervision Unit conducted a training program of asking questions strategies .Also the program was delivered by Juliet Cowley , a Certified Coach within CFBT Company and English Supervisors in Muscat Gvernorate.Moreover , the program aimed to enhance the knowledge within English teachers through analyzing questions which directed to students and acquire the teachers with good planning skill to ask questions. In addition, the program focused on various topics such as asking appropriate questions that helped students in the classroom and teach them how to ask questions which focused on understanding and knowledge to give them big role at the school lesson instead of the teacher. Also these strategies aimed to raise up the high thinking of students in order to be the center of the educational process. Manah Al Hinaai, an English Teacher ,the 1st English Supervisor said that the program touched the teachers needs at the 1st and 2nd basic education phases and the presented strategies in the program might help the students in application and analysis process .
