Applied Science Section Conducts an Educational Robot Ev3 Training Workshop in Al Dahirah
The Applied Science Section represented by the IT Supervision Unit organized a training workshop of educational robot Ev3 on Sunday the 27th, March, 2016. It will last up for three days and targeted the IT teachers within various schools in the governorate .Also the workshop aimed to acquire the trainees with the skill of producing a service mechanism, to apply the designing skill and train students on how to set up the educational robot into the IT subject. Moreover, the workshop included work papers presentation by Badriyah Al Shikry, IT teacher in Fida Basic Education School presented diverse worksheets such as Ev3 robot ´s bag components, Mindstorms Education Ev3 Lego Program and how to deal with sensors. In addition, Hanan Al Gafri, IT Supervisor said that the attendance benefited from the content of the workshop in providing information and teachers experiences which enable them to acquire necessary skills in teaching the robot units at the 7th basic education curriculum for the IT subject.
