Ninth school sport competition continues at Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex

Ninth school sports competitions were launched yesterday at Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bowsher with the participation of 276 students representing a number of teams from governorates.

Aisha saeed Al Jabriya, sport activities supervisor at the Ministry of Education and a member of the Central Committee of the contest said:” there was an intense competition in volleyball in the opening day “. She wishes to all teams to achieve the desired ambitions and skills of various sports through exchange of experiences and also benefit from trainers and specialists guidance.

A participating student in the competition, Anwar Al Muqbali from North Batinah team said: “I am very happy to be here in the finals of school sports and we hope to win”.

Zainab Al Balochi from South Batinah governorate team said: “Our presence in such a sporting event gives us an opportunity to gain more experiences and knowledge as well as benefit from the guidance of the trainers”.
