Al Buraimi Directorate, represented by Educational Outreach and Student Welfare Section in Department of Educational Programs organized a World Social Work Day's Ceremony yesterday morning at the Directorate's Theater under the auspices of His Highness Mr. Firas Al Said and in the presence of Musa al Hinai, Director General of Directorate General of Education in Al Buraimi Governorate and Abdullah Al Dhahri, Education Minister's Advisor, and others. The celebration started with verses from the Holy Quran. Then, Dr. Sultan Yahyai Director of Educational Programs Department delivered a speech in which he mentioned social and psychological specialists' great role in Education field where they deal with students' social issues and find proper solutions; therefore create positive changes in students' behavior and raise their educational achievements. At the end of the ceremony, event sponsor honored companies and institutions and active social specialists and psychologists. Also, a commemorative gift was presented to the event's sponsor.
