Al Buraimi Directorate's Schools Perform Pilot Test for the International Study Reading Skills' Assessment PIRLS 2016

Al Buraimi some selected schools did pilot test yesterday morning for the international study reading skills assessment "PIRLS 2016''. The test aimed to prepare students for the official test of the international study ''PIRLS'' 2016, which will be performed at the beginning of April, and to guide students how to deal with questions, tests, and giving a clear indication of the weaknesses before the actual exams. Pilot test was carried out into two periods, scientific text and literary text.
Al Buraimi governorate conducted previously a number of training workshops to raise teachers' awareness about the test and formed also local committees to follow up the schools and raise awareness of the importance of the study and stand on the challenges that facing schools, and have more media campaigns and distribute leaflets, brochures and posters.
