Al Buraimi Directorate Qualifies Eight Student's Projects for Cognitive Development's Final Competitions at the Sultanate

The General Directorate of Education in Al Buraimi Governorate, represented by the Department of Educational Evaluation qualified eight student projects to represent the governorate at the Sultanate's level in the fields of science; robot and artificial intelligence for cognitive development program for the academic year 2015/2016, and supervised by cognitive development and international studies departments. Nasra Al Maamari, Director of Educational Evaluation Department said that today's world is a world of innovation and the major powers are competing to invent and access the newest and easiest connection, therefore facilitate human life and serve the environment, and reflect on education by encouraging students to think scientifically by innovative scientific projects. Then, first places projects were qualified as following: '' Safe Shipper'' project came at the first place and the project '' I will not be Behind Closed Doors Anymore'' came at the second place while ''The Use of Technology in Maintaining Students' Safety in Schools' Bus'' project came at the third place and '' Interactive alternative Whiteboard'' project came at the fourth place. Moreover, the projects winning first places in robot and artificial intelligence were qualified in the Directorate as following: Maymona bint Al Harith Basic Education School came at the first place in the competition'' collect the balls'', and first place in '' Somo'' competition, and same school won the first place in '' Line Track'' competition. In the open competition, the project "Environmental Protection Robot" came at the first place.
