Schools of South Al Batinah Celebrates Teacher’s Day
Directorate-General of Education South Al Batinah Governorate celebrated the teachers' day in 119 public schools and 54 private schools. The ceremony included various educational activities attended by a number of educators, teachers, parents, guests and students of schools. Moreover, the ceremony includes a number of sketches, such as holy Quran, recorded speech by HM Sultan Qaboos bin Said - may God protect him, about human resources and encouraging education and employment, as well as the boards of welcome, songs and folk arts, sports and cultural competitions and others. Also the glorious teachers received gifts and certificates of honor and greeting cards from educational governorate. Furthermore, Dr. Waleed Al Hinai appreciated teachers' efforts at educational process. He explained also the importance of teacher day celebration and honored educators. At the end, he mentioned a number of educational achievements gained by the Directorate and the awards obtained by the governorate which considered an evidence of great efforts in education field.
