Student Project Appraisal in Cognitive Development Program at Al Dhahra Directorate

Al Dhahra Directorate represented by Cognitive Development Section and the Department of International Studies organized a session to evaluate students' cognitive development projects on Monday, February 22, 2016 and it will last for two days, in the presence of Ms. Nora Al Ghafri, Head of Cognitive Development Department in the Governorate. The evaluation aims to encourage students' research, survey and scientific think, and urge students to apply their acquired knowledge at the daily life. Moreover, student projects considered as a tool of cognitive development program which is divided into two parts: practical experience and procedural project. It also included five fields: (engineering, physics, mathematics, environmental science, safety and security). The main reason of this evaluation is to assess student projects glorious discovery in various fields in order to participate and represent the Governorate in the competitions carried out at the level of the Sultanate.
At the end, Nora Al Ghafri, Head of the Section explained that she is fascinated to see students' wonderful innovation that come out as a result of the challenges exist in the society and the desire to find solutions. Also, Mr. Bader Al Mamari, Member at Technical Examinations and Student Affairs, said that such projects provide feedback about students' ability to apply various sciences in solving problems of practical daily life.
