MOE organizes a training course in preventive driving
In collaboration with Qalhat LNG, Ministry of Education, represented by Undersecretary of Management and Finance Office and School Performance Development Division, organized recently a training course entitled (preventive driving) in the Traffic Safety Institute.
The program aims to train (177) of the ministry drivers and staff working in the field of school buses. It covered the concept of preventive driving, statistics, knowledge, skills and habits of vision (clear path), the seat belt, headrest, the importance of vehicle inspection and maintenance, international traffic signs, rules and priorities of traffic, the importance of tires, overtaking and changing lanes, field exercises, the environment and how it is related to driving, the risk of speed, safety distance, first aid and practical training on preventive driving.
