Implementation of Math Olympiad Test at Al Buraimi Directorate

Cognitive Development and International Studies Section at Education Evaluation Department arranged Math Olympiad test at the Vocational and Development Training Center. The test started daily at 9:00 am and it lasted for four hours consisted of four essay questions with 10 marks each. Therefore, the total score for the test is 40 marks. 
It is worth mentioning that there are a number of conditions for students' nomination to participate in the Olympiad, such as student's age should be under 19 and they should obtain a high level in Math. The current stage is to select students of grade 11 & 12. Then, qualified students will have a central test.  At the third stage, the qualified students will be trained centrally by international expert for a week. At the end, a central test will be implemented and six students will be chosen and trained till 31st March.
