Madiha meets Word Intellectual Property Organization delegation
Her Excellency Dr. Madiha bent Ahmed Al Shibaniya, Minister of Education Received yesterday (Sunday) at her office the delegation of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of cooperation between the Ministry of Education and WIPO. This visit comes in order to develop a national strategic plan for the development of intellectual property which has been piloted in a number of countries. Also they discussed the training programs offered by WIPO for school level to support innovation and to support universities in the field of innovation. They also talked about the role of cognitive development program in science and mathematical and geographical concepts and how to encourage students to innovate through projects.
