Al Mawred Basic Education School in Adam launched the Scientific Park Project in the presence of Suleiman bin Abdullah Al Salmi, Director General of the Directorate General of Education in Al Dakhiliah Governorate and a number of heads and supervisors. The project was a garden of different plants, such as fruit-bearing plants, ornamental plants and seasonal flowers. It included agricultural educational basin used in scientific activities and it also had a solar-powered fountain. The project was conducted by the administration of second field teachers and students' guardians'. Full concept had been developed for the project and appropriate place was chosen and seedlings were purchased. The project had many targets, such as recognize the importance of plants and benefits of agricultural soil, enable students to describe plant life cycle, and create an attractive environment within the school to raise motivation in students' souls to learn, research and survey as well as enhance their levels of study.
