Oman Edu Portal in “INFOCONNECT2012†Kuwait
Kuwait, HE Eng. Salim Al-Othina the Minister of Communication and Minister of Electricity and Water patronized over the inauguration of “InfoConnect & Infobiz” fair of Information Technologies in Kuwait in the attendance of senior government officials and dignitaries.
The fair is being held at Kuwait Fair Ground in Mishref on Sunday, 29th; it draw massive number of audience from domestic and international exhibitors and eminent decision makers
Over 120 private companies are participating in addition to several ministries and state agencies which showcased their latest advancement and technology.
The exhibition offers a great opportunity to decision makers, specialists, IT enthusiasts as well as individuals to take a look at the latest technology available.
In addition to the Education Portal showcasing; the Omani delegation comprised other teams from ITA, the Tendering Council, Oman Central Bank and the Tertiary Education “United Draft Admission Centre”. As a winner of the best Developing Electronic Portal award in the GCCC, the portal draw an impressive numbers of public who came to closely look into portal’s electronic services.
It’s noteworthy that, the sultanate participation topped all others participations, as it participated by five different teams .This exhibition slogan banner “Towards a United GCC e-Community” comes in response to the guiding orders by the GCCC leaders in Al-Riyadh Summit.
