Directorate General of Education at Al Batinah North Ends ''The Robot Explorer'' Competition, Sponsors by Jusoor Social Development

Under the auspices of Dr.Said Al Harthy, Wali Lowa and the presence of Dr. Ali Al Harrsi, Director General of Education at Al Batinah North, the Directorate of Education concluded robot competition which was organized by IT Department for two days, entitled '' The Robot Explorer''. Around 60 talented students of different governorates participated in robotic field. 
 The closing ceremony started with a speech delivered by Abdul-Majeed Al Raisi, Projects Coordinator in Jusoor Institution, during which he pointed out the advantages of using robot in education to create a generation who can contribute to the success of Oman at the scientific fields. 
Then, Dr. Ali Al Harrasi, Director General of Education at Al Batinah North, said that the competition completed the project of educational robot lab which considered a direct response to the directives of His Majesty to develop a society where to do scientific researches freely, particularly in robot science that include latest technical means and scientific instruments.
 A visual presentation highlighted the major achievements of robot lab for this year followed by honoring the competition's winners. After that, Al Harthy inaugurated exhibition accompanying the competition, which included a number of innovative projects in the field of material exploration at hazardous environment.
At the end of the competition, some participants gave viewpoints on the competition in which they explained that they acquired information about robot and it was an opportunity to benefit from others' experiences.
