Madiha Al Shibaniyah Heads to Hungary to Hand Over UNESCO Sultan Qaboos Prize for Environmental Preservation

Assigned by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, Dr. Madeeha bint Ahmed al-Shibaniyah, Minister of Education, Chairperson of Oman National Commission for Education, Culture and Science and her accompanying delegation left yesterday to the Hungarian capital, Budapest to hand over UNESCO Sultan Qaboos Prize for Environmental Preservation 2015 as the Research Group for Wet Lands in Buenos Aires University in Argentine won the prize. The ceremony will be held within the activities of UNESCO Science Forum. Dr. Madeeha al-Shibaniyah will also take part in 38th UNESCO General Conference, due to be held in Paris during November 3rd to 18th, as she will deliver the Sultanate´ speech.
