''Students' Administration'' Prepares Students to Nominate and Candidate for the Shura Council
Students, who participated in ''Students Administration'', agreed that the nominations' steps followed in schools for the electing student administration were almost the same steps followed in the Shura Council last Sunday. Students and educationalists indicated that this practical application educated them over the previous years about election in Oman.
Al Zahra'a Al Jabria, the Head of Students Administration Group in Maria Coptic School Basic Education, explained that being a Student Administration provides me with different skills, such as speaking fluently and dealing with others with high respect. Then, Said Al Farsi, a student representative in Mazin bin Ghadoba School Basic Education, added that this experience gave me the courage to deliver speeches to others and he wished to be a member at the Shura Council in the future.
Next, Mr. Nasr Al Siyabi, Supervisor of Cleanliness and Hygiene Competition in Mazin bin Ghadoba School Basic Education, said that after voting for student administration, students gathered to nominate for the Head of Student Council and that is according to the followed process to nominate at the Shura Council.
After that, Mr.Nasser bin Abddul-Nabi , Student Administration Supervisor in Hamzah Ibn Abdu-Almutalib School Basic Education, added that students' participation in student administration helped students to be social and reflected positively on the society. In addition, it made them able to choose members of Shura Council in the future.
In addition, Mr.Helmi Abdul-Ilah, a Student Administration Supervisor in Omro Ibn Al Aas School Basic Education School, explained that the students' members in Student Administration group go through several stages while they candidate for student council like present ideas and plans for the students and participate in students' meeting for students administration. Therefore, the reality of student administration election enhances the democratic principle in students and made them responsible to themselves in the school and society.
