The Linguistic Performance Development Committee at the Directorate General of Education in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate organized a training program in the Educational Training Center in Nizwa ,in presence of Dr.Mosa Al Silamani , the Human Sciences Section 's Head and the Deputy Chief of Linguistic Performance Development  in  the governorate   .It  targeted Arabic Language teachers of cycle one basic education and  class five . It aimed to qualify teachers to apply Read & Think program in some schools within current academic year. Also, Subait Al Gilani, Educational Expert at the Directorate General of Human Resources Development and Ruqiyah Al Rahbi presented the program.     
Moreover, the program started with the definition of Read and Think program, which is a book of diverse activities presented to students who are suffering from the reading difficulties within various types. In addition, they discussed different topics, related to the implementation mechanism of the program in order to rise up the students' level that cannot read or write or those cannot understand the reading materials, which came from schoolbooks and other reading sources. Also they mentioned about those who read slowly for any reason. It is also to be noted that the program was applied for a group of students within six weeks and through following up and training the students who can achieve the targeted missions successfully .In addition, the program depends on providing the students with reinforcement activities during the lessons in order to be able to read and understand the reading material. After that, the teachers being trained practically to implement the program on students and setting up the general plan and suggestions.
