Al Dakhiliyah Directorate Conducts the Training Course of Field of Diagnosis and Assessment of Learning Difficulties
Education Programs Department at the Directorate General in Al Dakhiliyah organized a training course targeted teachers of learning difficulties. Dr. Hamoud bin Abdullah Al-Shukri, trained teachers and provided them with diagnostic skills and conducted academic and developmental tests for students before they start resolving learning difficulties to identify type of disability that students face, thus developing an appropriate treatment plan when students enroll to cycle one.
The course included a number of worksheets, such as concept of learning difficulties, measurement of students' intelligence and their social behavior, and application to diagnose and assess attention and memory difficulties. The course lasted for five days with a participation of forty-five teachers.
