Directorate General of Eduction of Al Batina South celebrated obtaining ISO 9001 Certificate at the meeting hall of the Directorate in Rustaq, in presence of Dr. Al Waleed Al Hinai, Director General, and many Directors and Heads of Departments.
The Directorate acquired the certificate within four educational Governorates: Muscat, Al Sharqia North, and Al Dhahra. It considered as an achievement of employees in education field where the application of quality system has a great importance in providing excellent services that achieved satisfaction of beneficiaries. In addition, the external audit of previous year started in November and four governorates will be selected for the next coming period: Musandam, Al Buraimi, Al Batina North and Al Sharqia South.  
Dr. Al Waleed Al Hinai stressed on the importance of obtaining ISO 9001\2008 certificate and he thanked all for their efforts in the previous period in applying quality system management in the governorate. He explained also that acquiring the certificate contribute to the success of work process.  
The external audit included the administration department, planning, quality assurance and customer service. It measured the effectiveness of services provided to beneficiaries. The quality system also provided mechanisms to monitor and measure the quality of services provided on a regular basis depending on the nature of the indicator for each service. Of course, the system had facilitated measuring the extent of achieving the objectives whether for employees or beneficiaries in the governorate's schools and local community.
