Directorate General of Al Batinah South honored yesterday morning at the office of Dr. Al Waleed Al Hinai, Director General of Al Batinah South Education, a number of schools' directors, teachers, supervisors and students who participated in the activities at the Sultanate level and achieved honorable results.
Dr. Al Waleed Al Hinai gave a welcome speech in which he praised the advanced results in cognitive development program acquired by the teacher, Abdullah Al Al Khozara, and the students Majid Al Kharusi and Hamoud Al Kharusi of Wadi Bani Khros School in Al Awabi. He thanked Mr. Rashid Al Samsami for his obvious concern about education process and encouragement of different activities where the '' aromatics extraction project'' came at the second place, and represented the Sultanate and the Ministry of education in the trip to Korea South.
Dr.Al Waleed also honored the participants in the environment ''GLOBE'' program for ascended the highest peak of Kilimanjaro Mount in Tanzania at a height of 6000 meters above sea. Ministry of Education's participation represented the Sultanate in the celebration of the twentieth anniversary of ''GLOBE'' program, and introduced them to the diversity of climate, plant life, wildlife and various animals along 15 miles. Therefore, students' personality was improved and be able to gain skills and experiences and transfer expertise to their colleagues.
At the end of the meeting, students talked about their experience in ''GlOBE'' program and thanked the Directorate General for the opportunity given to participate in global scientific events. Then, gifts and appreciation certificates were distributed to participants.
