Her Highness Dr. Tagreed Bint Turkey Al Saeed presided over the Closing Ceremony of the fifth World Robot Olympiad, which held in German University of Technology, in presence of Mr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Hinai, Advisor of Minister of Education for International Relations. Her Highness also praised the excreted efforts of the Olympics' organizer. Moreover, she added, ''I hope that ambition and motivation level remains at the same and that students be at the desired level in honoring the Sultanate in World Robot Olympiad.''.
It included a speech of the Ministry of Education, represented by the Directorate General of Information Technology, delivered by Mr.  Faisal bin Ali Al Busaidi, Assistant of Director General of Directorate General of Information Technology, in which he referred that the Olympics had 70 projects with a participation of 240 students and that reversed the skills and creativity of them. He also explained that the winning teams hoped to participate in the World Robot Olympiad on 6thof Nov ember.
Then, Her Highness honored the winners in Olympiad as followed: Primary classes of ordinary category “challenges tasks” Al Qahtan team of Al Baatinah South Directorate came in the 1st place, EV3 Storm team of Al Dhahra Directorate came in the 2nd place and Al Mahamdia 1 of Musandam Directorate came in the 3rd place. After that, primary classes of “projects” category, Ramla group A of Al Sharqia South Directorate came in the 1st place, Amna bint Wahab Robot flowers team of Musandam Directorate came in the 2nd place and Quba 2 of Al Batinah North came in the 3rd place.
While for intermediate category, Quba 1 team of Al Batinah North Directorate came in the 1st place, Al Rafa from of Sharqia South Directorate came in the 2nd place and Al Rafa of Al Shaqia North Directorate came in the 3rd place.
Finally, secondary category : BPN team of Al Batinah Directorate came in the 1st place , Green Techno team of Al Sharqia North  Directorate came in the 2nd place and Al Amal team of Al Sharqia Directorate came in the 3rd place.
At the end of ceremony, Zainab bint Abdullah Al Ajmiah of BPN team explained that winning in Olympiad helped me start developing myself and my education, and I am honored to represent the Sultanate in the Word Robot Olympiad. In adition, Radhiah bint Abdullah, Supervisor of Information Technology in Al Batinah North added, ''This is our first participation and achieving the 1st place of National Competition gave us the motivation to provide our best.''.
