The local commission of linguistic performance development strategies held a meeting in Human Resources Development Building. It discussed the linguistic performance development of students at the schools of Directorate General of Education in Muscat.
At the beginning of the meeting, Sedaiqah Al Mawswi,the  Deputy  Head of the local commission of linguistic performance development welcomed the attendance and reviewed what have been achieved during the last academic year. Also, she talked about the importance of (Read &Think) program, activates it in order to to serve the education process and the program´s role to promote the achievement standard..
In addition, the meeting discussed the mechanism of organizing the event" the Strategy of Reading Activities". The reading bag was distributed to 130 limited income families at various schools in the governorate.
It is also to be noted that, the meeting came out with diverse recommendations such as
The schools administration should put  their priorities in raising the achievement l standards , Overcome all difficulties and challenges for implementation of applied programs  and preparation to establish the event of reading strategy which includes launching the reading bag.
