South Al-Sharqiah hosts the induction meeting for Schools participated in (Children Read) program

The induction meeting for Schools participated in (Children Read) program for English curriculum for the year 2015/2016 held at training center in Jaalan in South Al-Sharqiah. The program supervised by Ministry of Education represented by International Educational Program, and collaboration with British Council. The meeting targeted supervisors, English language trainers, and English teachers for (3-4) grads; presented by Ahalam bint Said Hedar, Specialist International Relation in International Educational Program Office; Hanan bint Juma AlBalushiah, English Supervisor in Muscat Directorate; Stephen Monteith, Director of English language programs of the British Council and Caroline Cameron, National Coordinator of the project the children read the Middle East and North Africa.
The meeting aimed to identify the program for Schools administrations, Supervisors, School teachers who participate in the program. The program targeted this year 8 schools from North and South Al-Sharqiah with four schools from each Governorates, which apply for students in (3-4) grads. The schools that the program will be applied in South Al-Sharqiah Governorate are Sur for Basic Education, Jalaan for Basic Education, Manbaa Al-Khair for Basic Education, and Dohat Al-Alam for Basic Education where British Council will provide guidance and support through the recruitment of relevant experts in offering the latest styles in storytelling.
