<>The Directorate General of Education in Muscat represented by the Human Resource Development Department implemented a forum of linguistic performance development under the theme (Through Reading We Progress). It was under the patronage of HE.Dr. Masooma Al Ajmi, The Minister's Adviser for Linguistic Performance Development, in presence of Sheikh Dr. Al Waleed Al Hinai, the Assistant Manager in Muscat Directorate, Central Commission of Linguistic Performance Development Members and others.
The ceremony started with a speech by Salim Al Saadi, Senior Supervisor of the 1st Field in Muscat, where he emphasized the importance of reading as one of essential means of human learning that acquires a person with diverse knowledge and information.   Then the Students from basic education (Cycle one) presented a poem and a presentation about linguistic performance development program. After that, Aseelah bint Qais School Students presented a play about the Arabic Language and various participations about Nizwa as the Islamic Culture. 
At the end, the patron honored the outstanding teachers applying  Iqra and Ufaker ‘Read and Think’ program.
