Under the patronage of H.H Dr. Hamood bin Khalfan Al Harthy, Undersecretary of Planning and Curriculum, 6th Second School Theatre Festival concluded today at MOE Auditorium in Al wattayah.
‘Rehalt Al Asidaqa’ was named as the ‘Best Integrating Play’ from Al Batina South Governorate, in addition to ‘Rooh Al Najah’ from Muscat Governorate at second place and ‘Al Maker wa A’sindiband’ from Al Dakhiliya Governorate at third place.
Basil Al Wahabi was named as ‘The best actor of main role’ from Muscat Governorate and Ismail Al Hadi as from Al-Batina South Governorate. ‘The best actor of second role’ was awarded to Harib Al Wahaibi and Yahya Al Shuwkari. ‘The best actress of main role’ was clinched by Thikra Masood Al Harthi and Shahad Al Hattali. Meera Al Shizawi was named as ‘The best actress of second role’ as well as Wigdan Al Saeedi.
‘The best script writer’ was crowned to Nasib Ali Al Maamari of ‘Rehalt Al Asidaqa’ play, in addition to ‘The best sound effects’ to Amer Al Abri from Dakhiliya Governorate. ‘The best stage decoration’ prize was given to Alla Said Ali from Al Batinah South Governorate and ‘Asaad Al Siyabi’ as ‘The best lighting’ from Muscat Governorate.
H.H Dr. Hamood bin Khalfan Al Harthy, Undersecretary of Planning and Curriculum said; ‘Congratulations to all winners of 6th Second School Theatre Festival awards. The festival is an educational tool as it provides opportunities to all students to raise their confidence and face the audience. Also, it gives us the opportunity to support all extra-curricular activities.’
