Curtains fall on Olympic Days in Al Batinah Governorate
Within extra-curricular activities participation of Omantel Olympic Days Competition preparation, Olympic Days of Director General of Education at Al Batinah South Governorate concluded in Al Rustaq and Barka Training Centres. The event saw a sore competition among participants of athletic activities, tennis, chess, javelin throw, shot –putting, jumping and running as well as football.
Asma Al Bassami, Athletic Activities Specialist commented on this occasion saying; ‘Most schools have taken part in this competition as a reflection of Omantel Olympic Days Competition preparation. Al Batinah South Governorate of Education won Al Buraimi Handball Cup held on 19th -25th February in addition to 3rd place in football. We want to congratulate all winners and credit goes to organizers, referees, and school principles.’
