Madiha unveils digital school map project
Her Excellency Dr Madiha Bint Ahmed Al Shibaniyah, Minister of Education inaugurated the digital school map project at the ministry theatre in Al Wattayah on Friday.
HE Saud Bin Salim Al Balushi, Undersecretary at Educational Planning, and other officials from the ministry attended the function.
An exhibition of statistics and indicators, school maps, leaflets and books on educational statistics from 1970 to 2010 was held on the sidelines of the event, which Madiha visited. And there was a presentation about the concept of the school map, its objectives, its importance, and the usage and the areas of the school map in educational planning.
According to Suleiman bin Zaher Al Roeeshdi, the digital school map, or otherwise known as the Digital Atlas, is used to study the reality of the education process and review its needs for the future.
