Salma bint Qais Basic Education School (5-12) honoured yesterday morning their outstanding students in academic achievement, activities and competitions. The event  was under patronage of Dr Masooma Al Ajmi, Advisor of Minister of Education for Development Linguistic Performance, in presence of Director of Educational Evaluation Department in Directorate General of Education in South Al Batina, Municipal Council member in Al awabi and number of administrators and teachers. The ceremony included number of activities such as the Holy Quran, poems and a presentation that showed the school’s activities and achievements. Also, the audience viewed a film about students’ achievements and interviews. Munira Al Kahrosi, the principal, delivered a speech in which she mentioned the importance of honouring students in order to encourage them to achieve high results in their studies and she reviewed school’s activities and participation in the Ministry or the governorate level.The patron honoured the sponsor companies and she opened Fine Art Exhibition.
