Opening the training of Arab Scout leaders and their assistants
It was officially opened at Sultan Qaboos camp in AlMaldah, Arab Scout study for Leaders and their assistants. It was organized by the Sultanate in cooperation with Arab Scouts Organization during the period from 18th of January to 25th, 2012.
More than 80 leaders from Jordan, Tunisia, Algeria, Sudan, Syria, Libya, Palestine, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Egypt as well as leaders from the Sultanate participated in this training camp.
The ceremony was held under the auspices of Director General of Scouts and Guides Khamis bin Salim Al Rasbi and in presence of Secretary General of Arab Scout D. Atif AbdulMajeed and a number of guests and participants in the training. The ceremony began by raising the Sultanate flag, the host country and the flags of participating Arab countries.
