Al Batinah North Governorate of Education discusses preparation for TIMSS2015 and PIRLS2016 contests
Al Batinah North Governorate of Education held a meeting to prepare for TIMSS2015 and PIRLS2016 contests to follow up applying international studies in the governorate, headed by Hamed Al Sarhani, Director General, and in presence of Human Resource Department Head, Education Curriculum Assistant Director, and local team members.
The meeting aims at assuring preparation of International Study of Math & Science and International Study of Reading Skills competitions to take place on 15th April.
Suhail Al Rushidi, Education Curriculum Assistant Director, said: ‘We plan to visit participating schools to train all students on tests models to view their performances. They will also be given a test session with a fixed time similar to the actual atmosphere of the test.’
Supervisors were offered an opportunity for discussion to overview observations of participating schools in the international study.
