13/01/2015

The Ministry of Education would like to point out that, the news that has appeared in Oman Newspaper (issue number 12273) Thursday January 8th , is thoroughly not related to the Ministry of Education; where the printed article is made by a journalist who works for the above mentioned newspaper; where he contrived the material from the Ministry’s circulars and correspondences with educational directories and schools.
The Ministry of Education wishes to clarify that, the MOE has its sovereign system for correspondence and internal communication networks with its employees and directories , hence it is obvious that whatever implied via social media channels is baseless and a misleading information.
The information is absolutely incorrect, misrepresented and misleading and intended to create a negative perception. The ethical misunderstanding is a result of citing information and spreading it around without referring to its frame of reference as set context , and as a result creating a wrong influence.
Far from the impression given by the reporter,  The Directorate General of Human Resources in the Ministry of Education circulars about the organization of‘In-Service Professional Training Programs For Teachers’ministerial decree (13 /2014/2015)  is upholding  the civil services code chapter , and regulations and does not  affect staff  rights and official leaves.
In this regard, the Ministry of Education reserves its right to pursue the publication matter under applicable law.
