Ministry of Education inaugurates school digital map project on Wednesday’s morning 1/1/2012, under the auspices of HE Madiha bent Ahmed Al Shibania in the Ministry’s theater in Wattayah.

The opening ceremony included, along with the opening word, a documentary film about the project implementation and an exhibition about school digital map applications.

School map project is one of the pilot projects implemented by the Ministry of Education to achieve several goals. The most important is building a digital geographic database (spatial and descriptive) of all the Ministry’s buildings in preparation to link them a descriptive data at the educational portal, produce school digital map  and  a digital atlas of all the components of  school buildings.
