 The supervisory  team of TIMSS2015 from the Education Evaluation Department  at Muscat Directorate General  implanted an introductory workshop of the International Studies ( TIMSS2015 ) in Al Ulaa School .It targeted a number of educational supervisors and the  study coordinators of the schools applying the study .  
The idea of this study based on considering the  global directions of Science and Math through International exams on a group of students  at participating schools  and consequently its  results  will  evaluate the educational system .
Also the study aims to stand on the students  scientific achievements at science and math , measure the existing differences between educational systems in the participating countries , develop the curriculum and teaching methods and evaluate the achievements to provide information in order to improve teaching and learning process.
The workshops included two worksheets .The 1st was ( TIMSS2015) delivered by Samiah Al Ghamari , examination member. The second paper talked about the role of the educational supervisor at TIMSS2015, presented by Soud Al Hadrami a Science Supervisor . In addition , the mutual visits between participating schools that applied the study will be a part of the program ’s  schedules .
